Taranis Engineering was formed in October 2013. The name Taranis derives from the Celtic (or Indo-European) root 'taran' meaning thunderer or thunder.

Taranis Engineering was formed in October 2013 by the former director shareholders of JCW Air Conditioning with Jon Salter, a former manager.

Now Taranis Engineering is led by Alex, Jon, and John. All three directors are proactive and dynamic, each bringing very different attributes to the business. This allows Taranis Engineering to offer a range of speciailst services.

This was their first two projects in association with both MEP Ltd & a high level corporate client of a major hotel chain. From the start Taranis understood the scope of works and their level of professionalism was of a very high standard for our client. Although Taranis were employed as a sub-contractor by MEP to carry out the Mechanical works, they often offered positive input into the programme in being able to overcome obstacles in logistics, coupled with on-site innovation through the use of installation techniques to overcome the challenges that existed. This ‘out of the box’ thinking enabled us to successfully hand over one of the projects in Dec 15, with the second project within the next 4weeks also to another successful conclusion.
